Solar Without Borders is a non-profit organization of BISZ vzw that make solar panels for community purposes such as hospitals, schools, orphanages, water, etc. in villages where there is no or very poor electricity in the Third World. The startup of this project began in Togo. In the meantime they are already in a dozen countries. Solar Without Borders also addresses environmental concerns by installing renewable energy sources. Together with colleges and universities, Solar Without Limits are working on research projects regarding recycling of the present installed.
